What's the story behind the name?

We believe in the power of great stories that bring inspiration and wisdom, told in a way that anyone can easily understand and relate to. That's why we chose the name "Breadcrumbs", inspired by the Hansel and Gretel fairy tale, where the main characters used breadcrumbs to mark their path and find the way back home.

What's the point of collecting the croissants?

The number of croissants reflects the consecutive days you've been active in the app, answering questions and creating new content. It's a form of a daily streak mechanic, a gamification technique we use to add a fun element to the experience.We're planning to develop exciting new features around this mechanic, so stay tuned and don’t forget to collect your daily croissant!

Can I delete my data without deleting my account?

All the content you and your partner create in the app is linked to your pairing. If you wish to delete all content, you'll need to delete the pairing. To do this, go to Settings -> Pairing, and if an active pairing exists, a "Delete" button will be available. Once confirmed, your data will be immediately erased. Please note that both partners have ownership of the content created together, meaning either partner has the right to delete the pairing. Also, keep in mind that once deleted, the data cannot be restored.

How can I delete my entire account?

To delete your user account, you first need to remove any existing pairing (if applicable). To do this, navigate to Settings -> Pairing and follow the provided instructions. After your pairing is deleted, you can proceed to delete your account by going to Settings -> Delete Account and following the steps. Once confirmed, the account deletion cannot be undone and will be completed within 24 hours.
